Top New Release New Zealand Whites

95 Points /b>

Dry, weighty, ripe pinot gris with poached pear, root ginger, ripe apple and nutty yeast lees flavours. The product of an unusually warm ripening season which resulted in picking starting a month earlier than usual but does not appear to have compromised quality.

Bob Campbell MW, Australian Gourmet Traveller WINE, Dec/Jan 2020

Blown Away By New Zealand's Central Otago

Unlike most fairly simple and innocuous pinot grigio/gris on the market, this dry white brings serious gravitas into play. The palate is strong and slightly oily, the bouquet slightly of honeyed spices. It’s a wine that will suit many quite full-flavoured dishes that rely on creamy mushrooms for their main hit. In short, it’s very food-friendly.

Winery Tasting Notes

An alluring bouquet of white stone fruit, honey, wild fennel and nutmeg.

The palate is enhanced by a smooth lush texture, containing a rich yet dry finish. The perfect food wine.
