Overview

Fruit for our Twist of Fate Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from Bool Lagoon situated in the Limestone Coast region. The terra rossa soils and cool climate of this area make it a perfect location for growing flavoursome Cabernet.

Following picking, the fruit was closed top fermented with time remaining on skins varying between 8 – 10 days. Malolactic fermentation and maturation took place in majority (90%) older French oak Barriques.

Winery Profile

"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—I took the one less travelled by, And that has made all the difference.” Robert Frost, The Road Not Taken.

During a fleeting half century in the global wine community, the Hesketh family has always followed the path less travelled by. As a result their winemaking philosophy is somewhat different. They only produce wines from the most celebrated grape varieties, from only the most acclaimed regions for producing those varieties, wherever they may be, anywhere in the world.

One of an emerging breed of cutting edge global Négociants, Hesketh wines are hand made from carefully selected vineyards in the worlds best growing regions. These three wines are just the beginning of the story, with exciting new releases from further abroad to be added in the new year.
