Full, rich Shiraz only just starting to settle down after 7 years in the bottle. Liquorice and fruit cake aromas lead to a complex palate of plums, brandy and more than a dash of rum & raisin chocolate. Perfectly suited to sipping whilst reclining in a leather armchair in front of a roaring fire.

Winery Tasting Notes

The vintage has resulted in a powerful, full flavoured wine with deep colour.

Typical Shiraz varietal aroma and generous palate with robust body and drying tannins.

Food Matching

Enjoy on its own or any accompaniment.

Cellaring Potential

Bottle maturation is warranted for a further 10 years from its vintage, however for those Shiraz drinkers who decide to drink now decanting and gentle airing of this wine is recommended for this hand crafted unfiltered wine.
