Overview

100% handpicked, crushed and destemmed then gently pressed, fermented in 1-2 year old French oak (15%). Post ferment, lees string 3 times per week for 10 weeks...this is what is driving the creamy, textured, moderate acid, nutty finish. On the nose you'll get fresh cut pear, fleshy lemon, white peach, spiced honey, on the palate emerges a textural with baked apple pie, fresh cream, cashew nuts, peach and ripe lime flavour.

The artwork on this bottle was produced by Australian artist Marty Baptist. More of his work can be found at martybaptist.com

Winery Profile

Brand Profile Image

We like to think we take a new approach to the often over-complicated world of wine. We’ve crafted our wines to be un-complicated and easy drinking with just enough personality to keep you guessing. Try them, tell us what you think. Our wines are produced in the Adelaide Hills.

We want to support and celebrate things that make the world a more interesting place, things that inspire new ideas…things that inspire us (and hopefully you). 25cents from every bottle of Cake goes back to FBi Radio, we commission talented artists to produce our bottle art, we collaborate with our favourite record labels, we’ve launched a film series, a mix tape series and run month long pop-up bars in dis-used spaces around the city.
