Overview

In 1865 Thomas Hardy had the foresight to begin blending grapes from different regions, believing that the blending would enhance the different qualities of the grapes. His vision proved to be right and it has since become the inspiration for our Heritage Reserve Bin (HRB) range.

Our award winning Heritage Reserve Bin range pushes the boundaries of winemaking through the cross regional blending of hand selected grapes.

Expert Reviews

Rating 95 - Jane Faulkner Australian Wine Companion Published 01 August 2018

Bin D676. A three-way regional blend from McLaren Vale, Clare Valley and the Pyrenees, the best of each create a complete whole. Excellent dark purple-black hue; just the right amount of spice, dark fruits, perfume and flavour. Surprisingly medium-bodied, although plenty of depth and complexity, with finely chiselled tannins and a persistent finish. Best of all, savoury rather than just fruit driven.
