Tasting Notes: Dark ruby colour with hints of purple and aroma of plums and wild berries. Rich and full bodied with flavours of stone fruits, long lingering finish suggests terrific ageing potential. Ideal to pair with rich casseroles, game, barbecues, mature cheese.
Vineyard: Canelón Chico - Canelones, Uruguay.
Age of the Vineyard: 20 years
Altitude: 80 metres above sea level
Harvest Method: Hand-picked
Winemaking: After fermentation and a prolonged maceration, the wine was aged for 12 months.
