Winery Tasting Notes
This is wine is made from two traditional Spanish varieties, Tempranillo (70%) and Graciano (30%) and – like the Spanish – we have blended the wines as they have very complimentary characteristics. The Tempranillo brings red currants, sage and savoury characters whilst the Graciano has dark cherry and spiciness along with a bright acidity and strong tannins. Aged for six months in second use French oak and, although drinking well now, will certainly reward cellaring.
