Pierre Pinot Noir 2016 (6 x 750mL) IGP Pays d'Oc

Selection - The vineyard is situated at 190m (620 ft) above sea level where influences from the sea help moderate the southern French Mediterranean climate. Vines are planted on slopes of about 35% and face northeast, which provides an even maturation of the grape berries, favouring a good sugar/acid balance.

Winemaking - Traditional vinification in stainless steel tanks following a short maceration of between 8 and 10 days, with frequent punching down. Care is taken to select only healthy grapes; they will be harvested at optimum ripeness and early in the morning, and entirely de-stemmed.

- 100% stainless steel vat with bâtonnage (stirring of the lees).

Soil - Clay-limestone soil made up of fine gravel.

Serving - Wine to be drunk in the next 4 years. Serve chilled between 13-15°C (55-60°F)
