    Expert Reviews

"This isn't as good as the '14, but is much better than the Philips of 10 or 20 years ago. It is clearly varietal, and clearly Hunter. It's medium-bodied, with a quite fleshy mid-palate, earthy/savoury notes arriving on the finish along with the tannins. As honest as they come, and will surprise and delight those who cellar it for 10 years." - Shiraz - Rating 93 - James Halliday Wine Companion 2018

Pretty as an absolute picture. Well. It’s a beauty. It’s ultra young and yet it’s drinking ultra well. It tastes of stones and citrus, slate and (whispers of) lemongrass. It’s dry to the point of sturdiness, acidic in a mellifluous way. There’s a slight spritz but it’s nothing to worry about. It’s long. One sip and I was hooked.Semillon " - Rating 94 - Campbell Mattinson Wine Front

"The palest straw colour; there's a softness and approachability to this young semillon offering up easy-drinking appeal. Lavender bath salts, talcy with ultra-refreshing acidity, some sour pineapple, lemon blossom and kaffir lime leaves adding to a zesty, moreish wine. The requisite acidity will ensure it will develop more complexity in time." - Semillon Rating 90 - James Halliday

Bright green hues. Classic citrus characters of Lime & lemongrass predominate with wonderful intensity and purity. An elegant yet intense palate of pure Semillon fruit providing great line & length.

Deep purple. Fresh red and black berries coupled with spice and hints of blue fruits. An intense palate of fresh fruits with a beautifully fine tannin structure. Classically medium bodied, exhibiting true Hunter regionality with its perfectly balanced acidity and impeccable length.
