VINEYARD: Cedar Creek (single vineyard wine)

DETAILS: 100% hand picked

FERMENTATION: Fermented on skins, with light plunging for 12 days.

MATURATION: Matured for 16 months in new and old French and American barriques.

VINEYARD: Vineyard trellis is Geneva Double Curtain with split canopy allowing easy air flow for natural fungal control and open canopy for maximum flavour. Only organically approved fungicide and no insecticide is used in the vineyard.

CLIMATE CONDITIONS: Warm to hot climate

AROMA: A rich nose of raspberry, blackcurrants and hints of strawberry integrated with spicy oak.

PALATE: Medium bodied with generous offerings of ripe red fruits, smooth savoury tannins and a long finish.

FOODMATCHING: Ideal accompaniment to beef, lamb and game meat dishes
