Expert Reviews

95 Points. James Halliday - Wine Companion. 17 July 2012

From a single vineyard, and spent 24 months in French and American oak. Deeply coloured, the bouquet speaks first of its place of origin, the full-bodied palate likewise; is arguably the richest and fullest of the range, but lacks the finesse of the best. If you trust the cork gods, time may change the order of these things.

92 Points. Robert Parker - Wine Advocate. December 2011

The 2009 M Reserve Shiraz has a very deep purple-black color and aromas of fresh black plums, black cherries and blackberries over toast, black pepper, dried Provence herbs, cumin seed and tree bark. Firmly structured with a high level of chewy tannins and racy acid, it has concentrated, vibrant berry and earth flavors on the full bodied palate, finishing long. It should drink best 2014 to 2022+.
