This wine is sourced exclusively from the 1920s Block. The 1920's Block has been released as an idividual wine since 1990.

Richard Bailey was an Australian pioneer. He brought his family from Mancehster in the north of England to Glenrowan in north east Victoria to set up a cartage business for gold miners in 1830.After the gold rush he opened the first general store in Glenrowan and in 1870 his son Varley mad the first wine at the family vineyard he had named Bundarra - aboriginal for "meeting the hills".Despite phylloxera wiping out most of their vines in the 1890's the Baileys persisted with planting grapes and making wine. They re-planted their first Shiraz vines in 1904 and planted again on the 50th anniversiary of the winery in 1920. This wine is sourced exclusively from the 1920's Block.
