This wine is produced from a unique vineyard in Main Ridge, the prime of the Mornington Peninsula wine growing area. Grown at our Roberts Road Vineyard, the Pinot Gris grape produces intense aromatics of golden delicious apple, meyer lemon with a powerful mineral palate of citrus sorbet and a long clean acid finish. The grapes are carefully hand-picked, quickly transferred to the winery for whole-bunch pressing to tank and neutral French oak barrique. A warm ferment with indigenous yeast is followed by 6 months on lees to develop a complex texture. After careful blending the wine is filtered and bottled.

Gris is best consumed when it is young, we recommend within 5 years of vintage time.
