This is a very good example of how producers nowadays are managing to reconcile real Cahors character when young.

Palate is medium/full bodied with plenty of fruit, lively acidity with a leathery tang, more earthy minerals, tar hints, liquorice notes and strong saline backbone leading to an adequately long and firm finish with marked tannins.

Nothing here for a Cahors lover not to like.
