Winemaking Notes

Fruit is sorted and destemmed. Once crushed, the must is transferred to red fermenters where pump-overs can occur up to 3 times per day. The fruit is drained and pressed once the winemakers are happy with flavour extraction and profile. Fermentation is completed in oak barrels. The wine is blended after oak aging and prepared for bottling.

Dark plum. Nose: A combination of spice, pepper and dark plums on the nose.

Palate

The palate is rich and textured with hints of Satsuma plum, blackberries and French oak.

Wine Style

Medium-bodied red wine. Maturation: 12 months in French oak.
