Bilgavia Hunter Valley Chardonnay 2012 (12 x 750mL) Hunter Valley, NSW

Bilgavia Estate has been making wine for a number of years, with most of the vineyard's grapes being sold to leading Hunter Valley winemakers.

In 2012 we carefully selected a small batch of our best fruit for our own wine. The Chardonnay was harvested early, in order to produce a sparkling Blanc de Blanc wine.

Over the past few vintages, we have grown our portfolio of wines to now comprise Bilgavia Estate Hunter Valley Chardonnay, Verdelho, Semillon, Shiraz, Tempranillo, Pinot Rosé and Pinot Noir. We hope to have a Fiano in the next few years.

Winery Tasting Notes

A fruit bowl of ripe peach and melon with subtle vanillin oak lift. A Chardonnay showcasing balance between ripe primary fruit and subtle bottle age. The palate is round and luscious, lashings of nectarine and apricot with a gentle citrus line supported by thoughtful vanillin oak. Served chilled with creamy pasta dishes or perfect with a cheese plate.
