Overview

The 2008 vintage in the southern states of Australia were marred by extremely hot temperatures that significantly impacted on grape quality. Luckily, many white varieties ripened before the adverse conditions set in and as a consequence displayed good to great quality, with very reasonable chemical and flavour compositions.

Bright gold colour.

Aroma

The wine shows aromas of nectarine, rockmelon, ginger and apricot.

Palate

A texturally unique wine with extremely generous lashing of ripe primary fruit. The flooding flavours combine with moderate fruit acid to finish dry and crisp.
