Range Valley Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2013: Medium bodied with sweet blackberry fruit and soft mint characters interwoven with vanilla oak and finishing smoothly with soft rounded mellow tannins and acidity. The wine shows a solid structure and rich fruit, which while drinking well now will continue to improve over the next 3 - 5 years.
Sheppards Lane Cabernet Sauvignon 2014: Broad, supple, ripe and expressive, with a dense text, this red is deeop in flavour, roiling with blackcurrant, mint and licorice flavours.
Angove `Brightlands` Cabernet Sauvignon 2014: Lifted and elegant Cabernet style varietal abounding in fresh herbaceous characters. Chocolate, blackcurrant and ripe blueberry fruit with delicate smoky oak.
Barking Owl Cabernet Sauvignon 2014: Blackberries, ripe plums, blueberries. Fine grained tannin interlaced with a hint of savoury oak lead to a wine that is medium bodied with great length and flavour.
Penley Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2013, Coonawarra:This Cabernet Sauvignon is a medium bodied wine with great balance. This wine shows spicy cabernet fruit, a dense ripeness with grape tannin. Rripe but elegant, distinct Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon characters are evident. Barrel fermentation in French oak provided a balanced integration of oak and fruit.
Penfolds `Koonunga Hill` Cabernet Sauvignon 2014: A fruit driven palate of dark fruits - dark cherries and blackcurrants, with chunky 'Cabernet' tannins that give texture and length on the palate.
