Bimbadgen Sparkling Semillon is a lively twist on a classic Hunter variety. This unique sparkling wine shows racy citrus flavours with a fresh, crisp, fruit driven palate.
Made entirely from the secondary fermentation of Semillon grapes using the charmat tank fermentation method, the juice was cold fermented and kept in stainless steel storage to retain maximum fruit flavours.

Highly aromatic bouquet with citrus and lime overtones and just a hint of baked bread.

The palate is elegant with plenty of tangy fruit flavours, some richness from the secondary fermentation process and a small amount of residual sweetness retained in the wine.

Enjoy whilst young and fresh over the next two years.
Food Matching

The Hunter Valley region has long been regarded as a premium wine-producing area; renowned in particular for its classic bottle-aged Semillon, full-flavoured Chardonnay and intense Shiraz styles.
The Hunter Valley's soils are naturally suited to the growing of high quality grapes; grapes which are characteristically full of flavour, depth and intensity.Bimbadgen vineyards have been producing such grapes for over 40 years.
Currently, the Estate's mature vines naturally yield approximately one to two tonnes of premium grapes per acre. Ideal for production of the finest wines.
The Bimbadgen owned vineyards are situated within the Winery building block on McDonalds Road Pokolbin, and close by on neighbouring Palmers Lane – the original vineyard for the name Bimbadgen.Varieties grown within Bimbadgen’s vineyards include Hunter Valley Semillon Wines, Hunter Valley Shiraz, Hunter Valley Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Viognier. Other varieties, such as Verdelho, Barbera, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot are sourced from select contact vineyards within the Hunter Valley, Orange, and select premium wine growing regions around Australia.
