Zema Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a benchmark Coonawarra Cabernet, concentrated with rich blackberry and mint fruit further enhanced with well integrated oak. A well structured and balanced wine allowing further development with bottle age.
- SA - Coonawarra
- South Australia
Deep garnet; as is usually the case with Zema there is a savoury bent to the wine, showing mulberry, briary complexity and a splash of cedar; the palate is medium-bodied, dry and showing plenty of life and energy with an attractive Amaro bitterness to conclude; this is food wine indeed. Well structured with outstanding depth of fruit, this wine while drinking well now this wine will continue to gain more complexity with cellaring.
