Cigar box, cedar and spice mingle with blackcurrant, subtle hints of mint and forest floor. Elegantly poised fruit with a tight structure - redcurrants and blackcurrants are well integrated with faint chocolate oak characters. Beautifully balanced fine tannins complete the wine.

Winery Tasting Notes
Cabernet Sauvignon (81%), Merlot (19%).
At once varietally Cabernet and regionally Margaret River – blackcurrant conserve is lifted with tobacco
leaf and subtle chocolate-mint characters.
Medium bodied, with tightly structured tannins creating wonderful length. The aromas detected transfer effortlessly to palate. The oak has fused perfectly with the vibrant fruit flavours to create a seamless, balanced wine.
Given the climatic challenges across the nation, Margaret River had a mild, though somewhat early
vintage, producing slightly lower yields, but incredibly intense wines. After a moderate spring with adequate rainfall, a warm and dry summer provided ideal ripening conditions for the fruit and made for an early vintage. This early vintage produced wines of phenomenal quality, with all varieties providing a sterling performance.
