The Yalumba Eden Valley Viognier is rich and opulent with intense varietal flavour - classic apricot and white peach flavours combined with citrus freshness and a hint of spice. Partial barrel fermentation in French oak has contributed the complexity essential in creating a truly intriguing wine.

Winery Tasting Notes
The Yalumba Eden Valley Viognier 2010 is perfumed and luscious – displaying all the essence of the Viognier variety. It has pure aromas of apricot nectar,
lifted honeysuckle and orange oil perfume.
The palate is long, rich and luscious, with intense stone fruit – particularly apricots – and finishing with an aromatic citrus freshness.
Perfect with Moroccan food, spiced duck and anything lamb.
This wine will continue to grow and develop in the bottle, firstly showing enhanced apricot and spice flavours, before developing honey flavours and toast after
approximately two years.
“Having worked with Viognier now for over 30 years we find the best results are achieved when we intervene as little as possible in the fermentation and aging process. Natural indigenus vineyard yeasts play a key role in alluring the flavours and textures express themselves to the full.” Louisa Rose, Winemaker.
