The classic white blend of the Southwest, but not as we generally know it. Lashings of tropical and citrus fruit, but with extra texture, depth, and funk.

Estate-grown on contiguous blocks; hand-picked, whole bunch-pressed, wild yeast-fermented in French oak, plus 9 months maturation in that oak. The approach has worked very well, giving the best of both worlds; the texture is a significant part of the wine, but so is the vibrant mix of citrus and tropical fruits. Winery Tasting Notes
Pale green with hints of straw.
Lemon pith, funky tropical holiday fruits and florals, woodsmoke, seaspray and beeswax.
Fine and fresh, but with a creamy texture. The fruits and florals from the nose all come through, as do more edgy, mineral elements, all of which seems to be coated with a lovely, soft, creamy layer. A twist of citrussy acidity draws out the finish and cleanses the palate - making it ready for more.
Drinking well now, but should reward cellaring to at least 2020 for those who enjoy toasty mature whites in this ilk.
