The style of this wine is mid-way between tutti fruitti and super savoury. Vibrant, textural and refreshing. Sweet from fresh berry fruits (not sugar) – yet with a hint of earthy sophistication.

Made from Tempranillo and 12% Semillon. Ever the professional, I’m sitting at the same table as my kids who are currently working with Play-Doh. I love the smell of Play-Doh in the evening.
Rosado it is, and a nice one at that. Redcurrant, touch of spice and earth, maybe some roses. Medium weight with the flavour of strawberry, cranberry and drizzle of sweet lime. Fruit driven, rather than sweet, with even acidity and straight down the line texture. Finish is crisp and a little bit juicy. Good. Rating 91 - Drink by 2016, Gary Walsh, winefront.com.au (DEC/2014).
Winery Tasting Notes
Pale to mid pink/salmon.
Juicy, jubey fruits…cranberry juice? Squishy rose petal florals and some more earthy, flinty, savoury elements behind – perhaps even some exotic funghi?
More weight and texture than the colour suggests. More jubey sweet fruits upfront give way to soft, savoury characters in the mid palate, with a twist of citrussy acid on the finish.
