Essentially the Dragonfly Cabernet Merlot is an expression of the deep dark fruit characters attained from the Ferguson region, rich and smooth with lashings of chocolate. Winemaking technique enhances the aromatic and flavour profile of the varieties whilst maintaining a long fine tannin structure.

Boysenberry, plum, chocolate, pencils and aniseed. Medium bodied, silky smooth, with tannin present, but well massaged into the body of the wine. The flavours are ripe, but controlled, and the whole package presents as pure class for the dollars from front to back. The spread of graphite tannin on the finish is really impressive. Excellent.
