Winery Tasting Notes
The 2011 Snake Charmer Shiraz is from the Pieri Family
Vineyard in the hills between McLaren Flat and
Kangarilla; these old vines are hand harvested and made
using traditional techniques. The wine is matured in oak
and selected by Vinaceous Winemakers Mike Kerrigan and
Nick Stacy and sent to West Cape Howe Wine (WA) for
finishing, fining, blending and bottling by Vinaceous.
The result is an exceptional, deep purple & vivid in colourwith bright hues
Perfumed, lifted berries and spiceon the nose.
Intense black fruits, dark chocolate and mocha notes across the mid palate; wonderfully rich, layered and textural; this wine literally coats the mouth - and finishes with soft, long and silky tannins and toasty oak nuances.
The Snake Charmer Shiraz can be enjoyed in its youth and can be cellared for up to 8 years and a perfectaccompaniment to grilled meats, sausages and BBQ’s.
