Expert Reviews

"A lovely Australian bubbly that features fine refreshing light fruit flavours. Its priced up with the cheaper French champagnes, but more than stands up to the price test." Rating 90 - Peter Chapman Fraser Coast Chronicle, (10/AUG2011)

Winery Tasting Notes

Pale gold in colour

Lifted aromas of ripe apple, hazelnut, lemon zest and a hint of strawberry.

The palate is rich and generous with complex flavours of freshly baked brioche, apple, grapefruit and a note of red berries. Excellent, persistent finish.

Food Matching

Seafood including the classic natural oysters and a squeeze of lemon or splash out on halved medium-sized lobsters on the BBQ with a lemon and dill dressing on a fresh salad.

Tasmania continues to grow in stature as the centre of cool climate viticulture in Australia, renowned for the quality of its aromatic white wines, complex sparkling styles and textured Pinot Noir. With the varietal focus on Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay and meticulous care in both the vineyard and winery, the Devil’s Corner range offers a great introduction into the tastes and flavours of Tasmania.
