We picked the fruit for the Hidden Sounds Grenache Shiraz during the night allowing the cool temperatures to retain the fruits freshness and flavour. The Barossa is the perfect region to grow the Grenache and Shiraz fruit and it’s cool climate is the reason our night time harvesting has become a key feature of this beautiful wine. With minimal handling and a small amount of time in oak barrels to give it that nice oaky complexity this Grenache Shiraz will become a firm favourite.

Winery Tasting Notes
An engaging brick red colour, with deep purple hues, the colour is eye catching.
The nose of strawberries, raspberries and light hints of mulberry and white pepper.
The mouth feel has a wonderful texture and weight that is a lovely balance that the lighter Grenache brings to the Shiraz. The palate has wonderful flavours of dark berries and strawberries with some white pepper adding a bit of spice.
As with a good red wine, Hidden Sounds Grenache Shiraz loves red meat and robust seafood. Roasted lamb is a winner as is a good cut of Rib Eye steak.
