Fiddlers Creek takes it name from two gold miners whose jubilant fiddle playing gave away the secret location of their gold reef.
The Fiddlers Creek sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir is a blend of several vintages and the two classic varieties of Champagne, Chardonnay (60%) and Pinot (40%). This wine is made in the traditional method of Champagne which effectively means that the bottle you drink this sparkling wine from is the same bottle the wine was originally bottled and fermented in. Although this method is time consuming and expensive it produces the most flavoursome and delightful sparkling wines, evident in the glass.
