Adelaide Hills Chardonnay is typically refined and sophisticated. This is no exception with big ripe fruit, rich golden colour and plenty of buttery oak. It’s creamy and chewy for those who enjoy a full flavoured style.

Winery Tasting Notes
From the moment your pour the first glass this wine’s richness is evident. The colour is a vibrant deep yellow with a golden luster and sticky alcohol legs.
The bouquet displays stone fruit characters of peach and nectarine but the fruitiness is giving way to rich creamy butter with hints of lanolin, hazelnuts and vanilla custard.
On entry the flavour is predominantly peaches and cream with a twist of lemon butter. Towards the middle palate it builds intensity and body with a mellow nutty texture and subtle vanillin oak. The flavours linger long on the aftertaste with a smooth dry finish. It’s the body weight and warm alcohol that give depth and mouth-feel.
For winter drinking this Chardonnay should be enjoyed lightly chilled. It has the body weight and texture to handle richly flavoured meats and sauces. It’s ideal with BBQ chicken, veal and pork cutlets. Or try it with spicy chicken rissoles or whole baked Barramundi marinated in lemon juice and olive oil … delicious! Serve cool but not too cold to get the full aroma and flavour.
After 48 months maturation this wine has been bottled ready to be enjoyed on release. It’s smooth and mellow now and will cellar for up to another 3-4 years.
