Exceptional ripening season, hot and dry with cool nights. Ripening occurred a week earlier than usual, but the excellent conditions allowed for concentrated yet delicate flavours to develop.
An ideal wine for reminiscing late into the night with old friends over a hearty pasta dish...

Winery Tasting Notes
Rich and lifted notes of tobacco leaf, and savoury spice overlay hints of dark berries, cherries and cassis. The aromas of earthiness, leather and bay leaf are also evident, characters this classic Margaret River blend are renown for.
A medium bodied wine overflowing with ripe, fresh fruit characters. The bright elegant fruitiness from the nose flows through to the palate, giving it plenty of upfront sweetness. Red cherries, hints of musk with bay leaf, and classic savoury earthy notes follow through to the back palate. Seamless texture with elegant yet chalky tannin, give exceptional balance and length to the wine.
