New Zealand is recognised for producing some of the world’s best-selling and most highly awarded examples of Sauvignon Blanc. With its crisp, refreshing fruit flavours and its ability to partner so many foods, it’s easy to see why it’s a firm favourite with wine lovers everywhere.

Left Field Sauvignon Blanc shows just how well this variety performs in sunny Hawkes Bay. Our warmer climate enables us to produce a more tropical expression of the grape with enticing passionfruit and melon notes combined with a focused acidity

Winery Tasting Notes

This wine is pungently aromatic with complex characters of sweet pea, passionfruit, hints of pineapple and lifted notes of lemon sherbet.

The palate is driven by snow peas and the fresh culinary herb flavours of thyme, lemongrass and Thai basil. A crisp and refreshing acidity support a lasting finish of Granny Smith apples.

Food Matching

Perfect as a refreshing aperitif or with a leafy garden salad and grilled white finish.

Enjoy now and till 2015.
