The Sandpiper range is named after the migratory bird which visits the Thorn-Clarke vineyards annually from the northern hemisphere - something of a reminder of the tenacity and commitment which is required for long term viticulture.

"Like the riesling in this range which is sourced from Eden Valley. It is only lightly influenced by oak but in the main it is all peachy and melon with a trace of citrus tang. Crunchy fruit on the finish, an eminently appealing and drinkable wine.'" 89 Points - The West Australian, Thursday 28th of November
Winery Tasting Notes
The wine is a light straw colour.
The nose displays some complexity with citrus and stone fruits complimented by nutty barrel characters.
