The Sandpiper range is named after the migratory bird which visits the Thorn-Clarke vineyards annually from the northern hemisphere - something of a reminder of the tenacity and commitment which is required for long term viticulture.

This light-to medium-bodied drop has just a touch of French oak and "a distinct mineral and citrus cut that runs the length of a tightly held palate". Controlled and balanced.

Winery Tasting Notes
The wine is a light straw colour.
The nose displays some complexity with citrus and stone fruits complimented by subtle barrel characters.
This is a medium weight wine with melon fruit and citrus characters balanced nicely with good acidity. There is medium bodied mouthfeel, the wine finishes with good length of citrus fruits.
