2014 vintage was one of the warmer vintages they have experienced. Perfect conditions persisted from veraison to harvest, with nights much cooler than average. Fruit was hand-picked in excellent condition, with high colour intensity and flavour expression.

They turn out nice wines at TarraWarra. Stylish. This gets about 15% new oak, which is plenty for a lighter style Pinot. “What’s wrong with a kiss, boy?”
Raspberry, leaf litter, gentle scent of just baked cinnamon buns. Light to medium bodied, has a sense of ‘mineral’, with very tight knit fine tannin, clean acidity and a lightly earthy, but pretty red fruited finish of excellent length. This is a goer. Rating 93 - Drink by 2024, Gary Walsh, winefront.com.au (FEB/2016).
Winery Tasting Notes
The wine displays lifted raspberry aromas, with a hint of earthiness and subtle oak.
The flavours combine bright fruit with fine tannins, the palate weight reflects the warmer days, while the acid balance is derived from the cooler nights.
