The Swan Bay range continues the Scotchmans Hill winemaking philosophy of restraint, elegance, balance and purity.

These wines take their name from the Swan Bay nature reserve to the south-east of the vineyard, a beautiful landmark at the eastern end of the Bellarine Peninsula that is a listed wetland.

Swan Bay was named by explorer Matthew Flinders in 1803 for the number of black swans that populate the bay in summer and autumn.

Winery Tasting Notes

Fragrant and complex bouquet; displaying aromas of tropical fruits and gooseberry with herbaceous overtones. Palate

The palate is crisp, dry and balanced by firm acidity. Tropical fruit flavours dominate the rich mid palate which is supported by gooseberry, grassy notes and a touch of honey followed by a green herbaceous finish. This is a fruit driven style to be consumed over the next one to two years.
