Spring Vale's lighter style PN. Yum!
The 2013 "Melrose" continues in the tradition laid out in recent vintages - it's bright, fresh, jubey, soft and is stacked with appeal.

Winery Tasting Notes
Colour is classic dark cherry with good depth, but colour don't mean squat when it comes to Pinot.
The perfume on this wine is sure to please, being a mix of luscious red berries (strawberries, raspberries) and hints of cola and earth. Quite a complex bouquet for a wine so young and uncomplicated. The fruit in this vintage was simply outstanding, and this wine shows the varietal integrity and drive that good vintages deliver.
On the palate, there is a harmonious balance between integrated acid and fine, powdery tannins. The mid-palate has presence and weight and the finish is persistent and flavoursome. Once again, the "Melrose" Pinot has delivered for value. Get into it!
