A half-hectare was planted in late 2000 with the clones 2413 and 8110, reminiscent of the Sauvignon Blanc style found across Tasmania and in the Adelaide Hills, subtly differentiated from the upfront fruitiness of its New Zealand counterparts.

Winery Tasting Notes
Ultra pale, icily refreshing appearance.
Luxuriant in ripe fruit aromas, notably sweet orange and passionfruit with touch of pawpaw. Notes of sweet honeysuckle and orange flower. While rich and appealing, the aromas are subtle, without overt pungency.
This is a textured style of sauvignon blanc with a luscious fullness and rich fruit flavours. The finish is appetisingly fresh and dry but the flavours linger with a sensation of silkiness. A balanced and complex sauvignon blanc.
Asparagus frittata with truffle oil; salt and pepper calamari; oysters with Thai dressing; crab cakes.
