Sugarloaf Ridge’s cool maritime influenced climate provides for a long growing, slow maturing season which develops low yielding, balanced fruit with intense berry flavours.
A silky Pinot Noir worth trying.

Winery Tasting Notes
Very deep garnet, with flashes of purple.
Dark plum and cherry oak notes with chocolate and spice. With breathing, dark berry fruits (blueberry and blackcurrant) plus an aromatic lift of rosemary and camphor become apparent.
Full-bodied, generously fruited pinot noir; dark fruits abound with intense and jubey pastille characters. The balance between soft, sweet fruit and fine tannins makes this an outstanding wine with food. Cherry oak adds a delicious final element, keeping the finish clean and savoury. This is a balanced and multi-faceted pinot noir that will develop further silkiness in bottle.
Seared young venison; slow-cooked baby lamb with parmesan crumb crust; duck confit.
