Late spring and early summer rains provided the vines with relief after a long dry spell. Very hot days and cooler nights supplied the perfect ripening conditions for cabernet sauvignon in the Yarra valley. Our estate grown cabernet sauvignon from block a1 makes up this lovely wine.
- VIC - Yarra Valley
A vibrant, elegant and restrained bouquet of pure cassis, redcurrant, toasty oak and nutmeg; the medium-bodied palate is lined with ample and quite silky fine-grained tannins, lingering harmoniously for a long time on the finish; elegance and power blended seamlessly. Rating 95 - Drink by 2025 - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion (MAR/2012)
