A velvety-soft and mouth-filling Merlot of amazing complexity with layer upon layer of savoury berries and briar interwoven with chocolate, aniseed and spice. Will cellar for up to 15 years.

Winery Tasting Notes
This wine opens with an intense fruit attack filling the mouth with berries, plums and spice.
The mid palate tannins harmonise well with the fruit; fine and emery-like they provide a long, supple, fleshy finish to the wine.
The wine will continue to delight for up to eight years.
Enjoy with crusted rack of rare spring lamb.
The Melting Pot was named by one of the ‘Wild Bunch’ after a few drinks and a think tank. It reflects this blend being a ‘Melting Pot’ of flavours derived from an array of different Shiraz vineyards through Eden Valley as well as a few barrels of Mourvedre and Grenache for funk and spice. Ageing in old barrels for 12 months has allowed the true terroir of a very difficult vintage show how special Eden Valley is.
