Pinot Noir grapes are grown solely for the production of this serious style of Rosé. Time on skins is minimised to reduce the colour and tannin in the wine, and maximise purity.

Winery Tasting Notes
The wine showcases delicate strawberry-like Pinot Noir with superb texture and balance. Traditional barrel fermentation is seasoned French oak has resulted in a wine of complexity, softness, and finesse with a clean, refreshing finish.
Pinot Noir grapes were hand-harvested in early March and whole-bunch pressed with no sulphur dioxide or acid addition. The settled juice was then racked to seasoned French oak barriques from the forests of Troncais and Vosges and fermented with indigenous yeasts. At the completion of full malolactic fermentation, the wine was lightly fined, filtered and cold stabilised. The finished wine was bottled under screwcap in August 2011 in order to preserve the delicate fruit flavours.
