Warm and dry conditions dominated the 2013 growing season ensuring water availability, prudent moisture management and effective crop load monitoring were essential to maintaining both healthy vines and canopies. With this achieved, the lack of any severe hot weather helped us out and ensured the Riesling ripened evenly and was harvested earlier than ever before in order to retain natural acidity and freshness.

Winery Tasting Notes
Pale straw with green tinges
Instant aromas of powder-puff lemon sherbet are supported by more subtle hints of summer orange blossom, elderflower and a an unusual touch of celery leaf spice.
Flavours of soft, juicy, ripe lemon and limes arrive first on the front and mid palates before secondary hints of spice and talc show themselves and lead into a clean mineral chalk finish.
Drink to 2021.
