The certified organic fruit comes from selected parcels in the Seresin Home Block vineyard which surrounds the winery, and makes up the ripest portion of our Sauvignon Blanc harvest. Our low-cropping vines carried about 50 percent less fruit than normal, resulting in fruit of incredible intensity.

Sourced from the estate’s Home Vineyard, 40% of the 2010 Reserve Sauvignon Blanc was naturally fermented in old French oak barriques. It presents intense aromas of fresh cut grass, sage and lemon peel with nuances of gooseberries and chalk dust. The full bodied palate is generously fruited with a great line of up-lifting acidity and a long herbal finish. Drink this one now to 2014+. Winery Tasting Notes
This Sauvignon Blanc embraces some of the trademark Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc characters with floral, citrus and herbal aromas underpinned by a flinty minerality.
The palate is harmonious combining concentrated fruit flavours with a savoury complexity. A tight focused acidity draws out the palate for a lingering finish.
After several months bottle age prior to release, this wine is enjoyable now, however the fruit concentration and firm acidity will ensure that it improves over the next five years.
