Ed Schild purchased the Tweedies Gully vineyard in 1977, noting that with its westerly aspect, high altitude and sandy loam soils, the vineyard was a perfect fit for premium Riesling production.
Now such an important part of the Schild Stable, we can’t imagine life before we made Riesling.

Winery Tasting Notes
Bright straw shot through with green.
Intense notes of Lisbon lemon, chalky limes and citrus blossom.
Crisp citrus fruit characters open up on the palate providing great depth of flavour. The crystalline acid structure provides excellent drive through the palate, supporting the mineral, spicy citrus fruits and floral characters. The finish is long, clean and moreish.
Drink to 2020.
