Overview

The Schild Estate 2009 Barossa Merlot displays an abundance of rich fruit characters, a supple and textured palate and a hint of some classic savoury characters so often associated with Merlot. These are ably supported by soft balanced tannins and a well defined acid backbone. A wine of textures as much as taste - elegant and capable of complimenting many different food styles with rewarding pleasure.
