This blend of Grenache (45%), Mourvedre (28%) and Shiraz (27%) is an homage to the great wines of the Southern Rhone but with a very Barossan accent. These three classic red wine varieties are blended to showcase the unique qualities of each whilst ensuring balance, purity of fruit and the utmost drinkability.

2012 was a wonderful vintage in the Barossa delivering beautifully balanced and expressive fruit. These qualities are immediately evident in this vibrant and seductive wine made without the use of oak to ensure the pure, bright fruit shines through.

Medium bodied with a mineral core underlying the crisp red fruits and spice this wine is fresh, complex and beguiling.

Bright crimson purple.

Intense spiced red cherry compote.

Old vine Grenache fruit presents itself on the front palate with a juicy red berry intensity while the Mourve?dre and Shiraz add blueberries, ripe lush tannins and a vibrant mineral structure. Hints of white pepper and spice are evident with a soft tannin framework ensuring a supple, dynamic and long finish.
