This wine is dedicated to Ben Schild. Upon purchasing the Three Springs property in 1952, Ben Schild transformed the land into a mixed farm with a focus on sustainable viticulture and planted the seed that would become Schild Estate.

This wine has been created as a fitting tribute to the man who started the family’s long association with viticulture and winemaking in the Barossa.

Winery Tasting Notes

Deep ruby red

An intense creamy perfume of lifted violets and blue fruits.

Vibrant fruit flavours of blueberry crumble and dark plums show clearly in the mouth along with hints of restrained black pepper spice. These all lead into a fine soft tannin framework and a persistent finish which comes back at you with lifted fruit perfume and a hint of well integrated oak to finish.
