The Adelaide Hills produces some of Australia’s finest Chardonnay. Since its first release (vintage 2000) M3 has quickly established a reputation amongst Australia’s finest.
M3 is at the forefront of the ongoing refinement and evolution of Australian Chardonnay. The aim is elegance, restraint, and the capacity to age in bottle.

The grapes come from exceptional estate vineyards at Lenswood, Lobethal and Woodside, and the wine has always been known for its complexity, part due (although you mightn't realise this) to its use of mlf; fermentation in a cool, largely underground, cellar is another part of the explanation for the unfailing ability of the wine to deliver the goods. Winery Tasting Notes
Stone fruit and citrus notes dominate the nose, and continue onto the palate.
The palate shows restraint and subtlety, with flavours of lemon zest and grapefruit, with a biscuity note. There is also intensity and weight to the palate, held in check by a seam of crisp acid that keeps it fresh and tight.
Now until 2021.
