Medium bodied in style with excellent fruit and oak balance. Showing a degree of finesse allowing approachability now, but with the structure to age.

Light colour, but the hue is good; fragrant cassis, mulberry and blackcurrant aromas, then a strongly savoury/spicy/cedary palate; is in a style all of its own. Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot/Cabernet Franc/Petit Verdot.
Rating 90 - Drink by 2017 - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion (DEC/2009)
This blend shifts in varieties according to the year and gives a restrained Australian cabernet cellaring style.
Rating 90 - Rob Geddes MW
A cabernet and merlot dominant blend. Nose has a slightly sappy dark fruit character with traces of rich plum pudding. The palate is quite firm with a fine thread of tnnins, briary fruit and understated oak. Held with good focus to the finish.

Crimson red colour.
Fruit aroma of mulberry, violets, blackcurrant and spicy cedary oak.
Palate shows ripe fruit with a seamless mouth feel, nice weight and texture finishing with fine grained and silky tannins. A refined wine showing excellent balance and structure.
A wine that will benefit from medium to long term cellaring.
